Orange Marmalade Recipe


  • 2.5 Kgs. of Oranges
  • 1.5 Kgs. of Sugar
  • 1 Vanilla Pod


  1. Peel oranges, remove seeds and carefully remove membrane from oranges meat. Then very finely cut your oranges, skin included.
  2. Put the oranges in a pot and add sugar.
  3. Put the seeds in a muslin cloth. put in a pot. It will provide pectin, a natural gelling agent.
  4. Split the vanilla pod in half and add it to the pot. cook over very low heat.
  5. Cook until the orange juice has almost completely evaporated and the skin becomes translucent.
  6. Very carefully fill the jars with your jam while it’s still hot. Close the jars and flip them over to let the air out.
  7. Set aside for a day before enjoying.
