Jumboking Celebrates PM Modi’s ‘Go Vocal About Local Diktat’

Jumboking, western India’s largest home-grown burger chain, is celebrating PM Narendra Modi’s new diktat. 
As part of the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, Modi, in his address to the nation declared, “Covid-19 time has made us realise the importance of local traders, craftsmen and brands. Time has taught us that we must make ‘local’ the mantra of our lives. Global brands that are there today were once local too. But when people there started supporting them, they became global. That is why from today, every Indian must become vocal for our local. These words from the PM have found deep resonance with the brand. Dheeraj Gupta, MD, Jumboking, said, “What PM Modi said is very relevant to the present times and to the growth of India as a nation. Jumboking is a proud #MadeInIndia brand and we have always been #VocalAboutLocal.” The brand had recently launched a 100 per cent touch-free logo. It has followed up with a slew of creatives on its social media- on the theme #VocalAboutLocal. Jumboking recently distributed 50,000 burgers free of charge to the underserved population of Mumbai, to do its bit towards the Covid-19 crisis.
