Fungi Santa Croce
200 gms. Button Mushrooms
200 ml Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Lemon Juice
5-6 Cloves of Garlic
Salt to taste
- Wash and dry carefully the mushrooms. With a knife cut gently across a couple of millimeters deep on the top of mushroom. Place on a baking tray for dressing.
- Finely chop the garlic and, add to the oil and lemon juice. Add the salt and mix well. With a teaspoon drizzle half of this dressing over the mushrooms giving each mushroom a coating. Bake in a pre-heated oven.
- Remove from the baking tray, place on a serving dish and pour the remaining dressing. Serve with fresh crusty bread.
