BAKED VEGETABLES

INGREDIENTS
1 cup beans, cut into small pieces
½ cup carrots, cut into dices
½ green peas
1 cup baby corn, cut into small pieces
½ broccoli, cut into small pieces
1½ cup butter
2 Tbsp. refined flour
1 cup milk
Salt to taste
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon powder
Grated cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS
1. Blanch all the vegetables
2. For white sauce, heat butter on medium low heat. Add refined wheat flour and fry till you get the cooked smell (don’t let it get pink or brown). Let it cool for sometime. Add the milk and let the mixture boil till it seems a little thick. Put cinnamon powder and adjust seasoning.
3. Now in a baking dish spread mixed vegetables on base and pour white sauce over it. Sprinkle cheddar cheese, bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees centigrade for 10-15 minutes.
4. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with garlic bread.
