Famous French chef Alain Ducasse has recently announced that soon he will be opening a branch of his chocolate shop, Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse, in North London.
It will be a shop inside Coal Drops Yard, a new shopping destination in King’s Cross, is scheduled to open in October 2018, joining 50 other independent stores and restaurants.
“Coal Drops Yard was a natural fit, fusing the traditional with the contemporary — the perfect setting for my chocolate, the fruit of a precise craft itself,” he told the Evening Standard.
The chocolates will continue to be handcrafted by old artisan chocolatier Nicolas Berger at 40 rue de la Roquette, in Paris. People will be able to pick up favourites like his chocolate bars, with 53 different types to choose from, flavoured ganaches, pralinés and truffles.
