Mini chicken burger



4 nos. small burger buns

Mayonnaise to spread

Mustard paste to spread

4 thin slices of onion

4 thin slices of tomatoes

Iceberg lettuce for base

4 nos. chicken patties

4 cheese slices

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

French fries for accompaniment

Oil for frying

For chicken patty:

300 gms. Chicken mince

1 tsp. fresh thyme leaves

1 tsp. minced garlic

½ onion finely chopped

1 tsp. mustard paste

Beaten egg of ½ whole egg

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste


For patty:

  1. In a mixing bowl mix chicken mince, thyme, garlic, onion, mustard paste, egg, salt and pepper together and make equal weight 4 patties out of it. (75 gms.).

Main preparation:

  1. Cut burger buns from the middle and toast them in oven, apply mayonnaise and mustard paste on both top and base part of burger buns.
  2. On a hot griller take some oil and grill burger patties from both sides until cooked.
  3. Now on each base part of burger place lettuce leaves on base then onion slice, cooked patty and then on top of that tomato slice and cheese slice and cover with the top part of burger.
  4. Fry French fries in hot oil until golden brown. Season with salt and serve hot with burger as accompaniment.
